Sherratt & Simpson Kitten And Cat Figurines

Sherratt & Simpson created the original and famous realistic looking cats and kittens from cold cast resin. This company was named for its two creators: sculptor Mick Simpson and marketeer Geoff Sherratt. This company first started with adorable mouse figurines and originated in England. The first figurines were sold in 1985. The Sherratt & Simpson line contained many other living creatures in addition to the mice. Sherratt & Simpson ceased operations in August, 2001. The recent molds were purchased by Country Artists, and in 2002 Country Artists introduced its Sherratt & Simpson line. These original Sherrat & Simpson cat designs have been adapted by many famous companies that make figurines. These pieces are now retired and are no longer in production. If you like the realistic looking cat figurines, you will love these original Sherratt & Simpson cats. They are crisper in even the smallest details and the painting is a bit better done. This company is not as well known in the United States. It originated in and is very popular in the UK. It was very expensive to ship these from the UK to the US and some of the boxes have been damaged. Please check the indivdual order pages for the condition of the boxes for each figurine.
